I am a prolific re-designer. When I start or play any game an essential component for me is pen and paper to jot down rule changes that I make as I go along. This is one of the very few games I have encountered that I have not come up with a thing to change. For perspective another major game that I can say the same thing about is Nick Karps seminal work Vietnam: 1965-75; that is the league we are in here.
