DC Deck-Building Game: Crisis Collection 1

There's a bit of "buyer beware here." The first crisis in this box is compatible with the original DC Deck Building Game. The second was designed to work with a different base game from this series. So if you don't own both, you'll get then your money's worth out of this.

Many of the crisis challenges in Crisis 1 are just absurd. Not impossible, but very challenging, often leading to annoyance and failure.

The coop mode is TOO LONG and not even that interesting.

And the challenges (crisis cards) are just too specific which doesn’t give you room to solve and innovate.

Wanna play Co-op? Here, add these crisis and try to snipe the villain before the deck runs out of cards! It's nice to manage characters with co-op powers and it takes some coordination to survive til the end. But the grind gets in the way and sometimes it feels too random, especially if you draw some specific crisis at the wrong moment it could make the game unplayable. Sure you can always bend it and customise it to your own taste, still it doesn't feel as interesting as i was hoping.

It has Crisis 1 and Crisis 2, a good combo to get additional cards for regular play (from crisis 1) and good fun crises cards mode (mainly from crisis 2). Recommended buy, I like Collection 1 more than Collection 2 because I like Crisis 2 the best although both Crisis 3 and 4 (which comprise Collection 2) are better than Crisis 1.
