Single play of Dreux; the Reiters are killers especially when using caracole. No issues with lethality as units were being wiped out by the shooting.

A wargame I really enjoyed. The rules are simple and have already proved their worth in previous episodes. The game material is of really high quality and the illustrations are very beautiful and immersive. The three scenarios are very interesting to play, on both sides. It's a pity that there are only these three scenarios. Well done to the authors and thank you for a top-quality game.

In french : Un wargame que j'ai beaucoup apprécié. La règle est simple et a déjà fait ses preuves sur les épisodes précédents. Le matériel de jeu est vraiment de belle qualité et les illustrations sont très belles et immersives. Les trois scénarios proposés sont très intéressants à jouer, d'un côté comme de l'autre. Il est d'ailleurs dommage qu'il n'y ait que ces trois scénarios. Bravo aux auteurs et merci pour ce jeu de belle qualité.

A very clever system which portrays well the period's art of war.

Beautifully done game using a well-tested system, employed in the two previous volumes in the series. Serious Historical Games, the designer's new publishing effort, has gone with larger, easier to read and to handle, counters, which I appreciate.

I highly recommend it to anyone at all interested in early-modern, battle-level combat.
