Hunt A Killer: The Cosmic Adventure Of Supernova

I have never played any of these mystery boxes but if other Hunt A Killer games are the quality of this one I am going to be picking up some more. This game has fantastic components and the story/mystery is difficult and enjoyable.

This was a spectacular "Hunt a Killer" game. We picked it up at GenCon 2022 from the publisher and played about half the game in our hotel room and finished up on the ride back home. We took our time and spent about 3-4 hours to finish it. There were many great ah-ha! moments as well as a few tear-jerk bits to the story. Overall, very, very fun. This one has several ciphers that take a bit of patience.

The price is a bit steep for a one-and-done, but it is an extremely premium entry into this genre. Also, if you are careful opening envelopes, nothing is destroyed in the process of playing it. So, if you plan to share the experience with friends and family after you finish it, the overall value goes way up. Super great mystery, lavish production, very challenging and fun. Highly recommend as long as the price isn't a barrier.
