Buyers beware, this game has had one of the worst Kickstarter runs with all the problems under the sun: long delays without any explanation, lack of transparency from CGL, custom charges to be expected even though ,VAT was charged along with the shipping charges, incomplete game components (tokens sets missing), misprints (multiple cards lacking important gameplay elements on them) and damaged boxes and cards that have been squished during packaging. Retail copies are form the same print run. CGL only offers to add the replacement components for free if you order something from their online shop. If you, like me live in Europe, the shipping costs will be nearly 200USD. Amateurs running their first kickstarter campaign could not have hit all these issues with so much consistency. Disgusting.
Knowing this is a remake of a 90s CCG, I had some expectations, but it still didn't really live up to them. Here's the thing, the game is 'fine', but it's not 'good'. They really could have used the time to refresh the look of the cards, cleaned up the rules, maybe. Just, done anything to make it feel like a modern game. Instead, it feels dated. Like old CCGs, it's easy to fall behind and out of the game extremely quickly. Just... a missed opportunity.
Very brutal game, possible to be out of money and stuck? Very confusing. Definitely has cool shadowrun features thought

Beautiful artwork, great feeling while playing and a great update on the old TCG.
I would've liked to see two cards with the sequence of play in each box ä one for each player and the traditional shaped nuyens. Round nuyens just ain't the same.
