Arcaven's Duel

Eh. I like the concept of instantaneous action and trying to build up a cool move or whatever, but the strategy is shallow and incredibly luck-based. Also, the rulebook and Quick Start guide contradict each other on some rather large things and the rulebook itself isn't really clear on a lot of things, making the learning of the game hard when it really shouldn't be for such a simple concept. Art is cool, and the mini expansion is good, but overall the game comes off as dull for me.

Fast moving & fun to play especially when limited in area to play … like coffee shop, airport, etc.

It feels like playing a game of war rather than a strategic card game.

We love playing Wizard Duel! Have played many rounds in beta and can't wait for the new art coming in Kickstarter version soon!
