Kyoto Shogi

The flipping mechanic is clever and makes for a very tactically rich game despite being played on a 5x5 board. If you like this then you'll like Chennis as well. Playable on PyChess and LiShogi.

Lazy to take out from cabinet. 2 Players, 30 Minutes?

A neat game, but hard to keep straight in my head. The combination of drop rule, flip rule, and kanji piece labels makes it hard for me to get past parsing my options and actually think about how to play.

With 'cheater' sets with move patterns shown, I like the game.
