2022-10-29 : First play. Placeholder for "Fistful of Lead : Fantasy - Might & Melee" which isn't in the BGG database yet. I very much like the unit/card activation system which is both tense and has players eyeing each other like hawks. Unfortunately in Might & Melee this is coupled with a combat system which is very swingy and random in nature coupled with a rulebook which leaves much to be desired. Rules being spread out over the actual text, examples AND pictures is just not a good thing. So much so that we've tasked someone with trying to figure it all out before our next game. But at the same time we all look forward to a next game, so there's that.

A lot of fun. Perhaps the perfect convention game: plays very fast, is easy to learn and highly visual. You cannot ask for more in a game and the rulebook is very well thought through and well written. Well worth a try!

Fun to play and simple for what it is. I've played a variant I've made called Fistful of Teef so that I can keep using my old Ork miniatures now that I don't play 40K anymore.

My one play of this was quite entertaining. I like the simplicity of it; in a good scenario (such as the one I played) it is fun. It also happened to be the first miniature tabletop game I had played in years, and it brought back sweet memories. A very accessible system.

This is a solid set of fast-play western gunfighting rules. There are several rule options out there, but if you are looking for an uncomplicated, straightforward rules that are fun to play, these will work for you.

I used to play "The Rules with No Name" for my western gunfighting games, but because of the high playability factor, I now prefer these.
