Best game I played at PAX Unplugged 2024. The creative combination of a simple created language with escalating word difficulty works wonderfully. A truly unique and, in my opinion, amazing game.

I really hope an English version makes it to American shores at some point.

In many ways, this is an incredible simulation/role playing game about the growth of language and social development. Watching ideas of communication evolve in an anthropological way (especially as players give into the unspoken opportunities of developing syntax, grammar, and phonetics) is fascinating.

In play, this can lean quite close to something like Concept, but with an arc. YMMV, and we really want to try this again.

Played at Pax Unplugged First Look. The rule book leaves a bit to be desired, but the concept and execution are pretty strong. We only got a chance to get through 2/3 of the first game (there's a challenge mode that seems interesting) but with the right group this game could be a lot of fun. I'd love to be able to play this with a bunch of linguistics graduate students.

Amazing game of word association, but the words are complete nonsense. Yet that nonsense makes a foundation from which more nonsense is made. Only let down by janky rulebook and some minor slower design choices. My personal Game of Spiel 2024.

I had a chance to demo this game at GenCon and was immediately hooked, the gameplay is simple and effective with inventive methods for smoothing the difficulty curve. The core premise is astounding in its ability to instantly create hilarious moments and truly profound realizations about the nature of language. I cannot overstate how much fun this was to play. Looking forward to purchasing a copy as soon as it’s available.
