Lone AstroTank: A Solitaire Sci-Fi Wargame

Lone Sherman goes to space . . .

Mostly good retro sci-fi BEM-bashing fun.Oddly, the sci-fi setting makes the premise more plausible than it was for 'lone Sherman.' We can conceive of the Astro Tank as an expensive, experimental prototype crewed by crack volunteers, in line with the best 'space opera' tradition. OTOH, Mike Lambo's games do seem to get a bit fiddlier with each new entry. and if that trend keeps up he'll soon leave us time-challenged dullards behind. However, 'sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.' For now, this is a good, fun game that generates interestingdecisions and a gripping narrative.
