Playtested this game at Dragonflight 2023, after immediately falling love with the aesthetic, and loved every minute of it. Definitely a must if you're ever looking for a casual game night with friends or family! I cannot wait to add it to my rotation when we need that Betrayal itch, but have younger kids around.
Delightful fanstasy game which allows for both cooperative and competitive play. Just complicated enough to have you using your brain but not so challenging that you can’t get through the directions. Creative world with adorable characters and satisfying play. Highly recommend!!!!
I had the pleasure of playing the prototype. I can't wait until the game is available in retail. The game is engaging during everyone's turn. The only downside of the game is that it can take up to two hours to play, and I enjoy shorter games.
Excellent game that caters to multiple interests.
I played this game recently during a play test opportunity and absolutely adored it! Looking forward to buying it next year when it comes out.
Bought this today at a comic con. Great game. Had a wonderful time playing it with my husband. Will definitely become a family favorite.
We enjoyed our plays of this game! It has a smooth flow and fast-paced turns with lots of possible actions to take. But actions cost energy, so you have to use it on your actions wisely.
We liked the unpredictability of the god cards you draw each turn, which have universal effects. Discovering relics was fun and strategic, because you have to decide which to give to the gods for favor and which to keep for their useful effects.
Fighting opponents was simple and fun, and it added anoher strategy layer to the game. You also had a hand of action cards that could help you or hinder opponents.
Overall, this is a great light family game!
Played a 6-player game and the last round almost all of us could have won with the right rolls. The player ahead has a target on their back like my least favorite part of Munchkin or similar games, but still the decisions you get to make are very fun and we were cheering a lot!
