Simple to get into , a lot of bolt on goodies to add flavour . Well worth the money .

Easy playing and fun with a lot of customisation and some nuance. I really hope more maps and units are produced

This is actually a pretty good game for the price ($21). The components are fairly decent, but the artwork on the counters could have been better so you could actually see the troops / artwork. The 4 armies are basically all the same in terms of troop mix on the counter sheet, but have slightly different stats per each faction, and then can be more different with upgrades. The rules are very simple and can be used for minis as well but combat can be a bucket of dice with most units rolling 5-10 dice at full strength.

A great & portable game. Not as in-depth as some rules systems, but gets a good experience and you can very easily scale the complexity by utilising more rules as you go. Great if you already have fantasy collections and want an alternative way to play with them quickly and without considerable financial outlay.

Game is fast and intense. Easy rules. Nice ways to do army building. Shades of good old DBA.
