? Game explanation: In the co-op game The Attic Monster, you ghosts are going to try to chase the monster out of the attic from your mansion, so you can continue hunting innocent people undisturbed. A game consists of 2 phases: Search phase and Battle phase. In the Search phase, you take turns rolling the 2 dice and perform the actions written on them. You can move your ghost through the forest, the graveyard or through the mansion. In the mansion, you will search for the key to the attic, so that you can get to the monster to fight him. The dice have actions that allow you to move your ghost, turn over adjacent tiles or just tiles further away. Along the way, you can collect crystals that will help you in your fight with the monster in the Battle phase. You can also collect keys that fit on doors to one of the 4 rooms where the key to the attic may be hidden. There are also traps, catapults and portals hidden under tiles that provide advantages or disadvantages. At the end of a round (when everyone has had a turn), you choose a tile from the game board to place near the monster. The more tiles the monster has, the stronger it is in the Battle phase. If someone finds the key to the attic, you immediately enter the Battle phase. You subtract the number of crystals from the number of tiles near the monster. Then, everyone rolls both dice once more and for each symbol rolled (except crosses), another tile is subtracted from the monster. If the monster then has no more tiles, you win!
⭐ Our review: The Attic Monster looks super cute. The theme is also very nice. It is very cool that the box is used as a 3D mansion. A very fun game to introduce small children from 5 years old to board games.
4 adults played this and had fun, tho it's definitely meant for young kids. Very little gameplay but gave me what I wanted; a cute and charming game which I can play with my brain turned off. It made everyone smile.
