I played this at Dice Tower West '24 and it's a fantastic game. The rules are fairly simple but there's a lot of depth to it. I honestly can't wait for the Kickstarter to launch.
I liked the game so much that I asked the demo host, Anne, about the publisher's other games as well. She was kind enough to teach us Robotrick, which I promptly purchased as well.
Don't sleep on this game when it launches! I suspect the only reason this isn't getting the attention it deserves is because the publisher (Explor8) doesn't have much of a U.S. presence.
I'm wondering where all the high praise from other players comes from. The idea of a tableau builder where each card scores according to the rules on the card seems pretty neat, but I found planning for future rounds pretty frustrating. You don't have enough information upfront to make meaningful decisions in most turns. The big scores from players came more from luck than planning.
And while there are some long term goals to aim for, that's only part of your score. Besides the drafting there's little interaction. And rarely you would choose a card to hinder your opponent.

Played at Ludinord festival. Very good game: the cards we can keep add strategy.
Disappointed by the game. I was looking forward to it because it seemed innovative with an immediate scoring and reserve. For me the immediate scoring, even if an innovative idea in a tableau building game, doesn't really work. Most of the time you score 0 to 3 points because it is hard to anticipate the conditions on the cards themselves. I felt super frustrated when playing the game. Instead you need to concentrate on the other scoring possibilities : the round objectives and your AI card that gives you end game scoring. Now I know why most tableau building have an end game scoring and not an immediate one. I also don't like the art at all but I was prepared to have a great gaming experience to compensate that.
Excellent game. I had the opportunity to play it two times at LeiriaCon. Each turn is an important choice. Smart and elegant. I highly recommend.
