Heroscape Master Set: Battle for the Underdark

This set contains some cool characters, but I would pick the Swarm of Marro set if this is your first Heroscape purchase.

NOT IN MINT COND: No original boxes. Sets were played many times. Just tired of seeing it sit in the closet unplayed

Theme is ok but prefer the original

Minis quality is lower than previous releases, but the sculpts were not originally Heroscape figures. Some of the tiles fit together a little rough, but other than that this thing is a beauty. A return to thicker cards. The best rulebook yet in terms of content and materials. The units are fun and full of theme. Uncommon heroes and treasure glyphs are great enhancements to the game. This will alter the core Heroscape game in a very positive way even if this particular game/set/expansion doesn't make it to the table.

Reasonable set with nice minis to add to the original.

Heroscape + D&D = awesome!

Better than Swarm of the Marro, but obviously not as good as the original Master Set with all it's plastic goodness. The units are well thought out and the scenarios are great. High re-playability with relatively few miniatures.

Master set "lite." I'm not a DND guy, and these don't seem like the most iconic DND creatures, but they're fun.

To me, this was a better D&D board game than Ravenloft ... somewhere between the two would have been fantastic
