I like the system and the flexibility it has for creating various difference classes of characters. We have modified the system for science fiction games also.
Good system, fast and easy. We've been playing a Mordhiem inspired Warband style game, and it works well for this.
Descent fantasy skirmish fighting game using polyhedral dice. You need to supply your own miniatures, and the rules give point costs to lots of miniatures as well as a point cost system to build you own. The point system is off, most especially with magic and special abilities. Meant for 5-20 miniatures per opposing side. Only fun if you like fighting/dice rolling games with miniatures.
Not too bad. Very simplistic set of rules using opposing polyhedral dice. The point cost system makes no sense mathematically. I couldn't wrap my head around holding actions and borrowing them from the next turn. Cool concept but not sure how it could work.
Fast, easy-to-learn skirmish/small battle rules set, with a versatile build-your-own figure system that's made even better by an uncommonly accurate point value system (ie cost truly reflects combat effectiveness). Let down only by a lack of campaign rules and a magic system that's slightly too generic for my tastes.
I really like generic sets of miniatures combat rules. The world needs more of these. This one isn't bad at all, although it doesn't have anything that really catches my attention and makes me want to play it a lot.
Some of my favorite skirmish-level miniatures gaming rules.
I really like this minis game a lot. Very solid system. We made two house rules to balance magic (in our opinion).
