This with Pacific are the grandest and best of the Axis and Allies games. I have been playing this game almost every satrurday since i started New Years Day 2016. My players don't always play the fastest, and we get through 1-2 full game rounds in a saturday night. it takes us a few months to finish a game, then we reset the board and start again. The win rates are pretty balanced for the teams, and we do not play with any rules modification. If there is one problem its that if you roll abysmally in your open few turns with the Axis, it can really make it hard for the Axis to get going. I view the game as under Axis control for the first 5 or 6 rounds, and somewhere around rounds 7-9 the Allies need to be turning the corner. Its a great WW2 game with lots of dice rolling and good strategy. My favorite of the genre, but I would love to play the 'World in Flames' series!

Not a fan of war games.

Good game, the componets are very good quality in this edition, but the game is a little bit old and not too much to do at all but defend and attack, a simple war game. It represents very well the feeling of the II World War, and the tatics with the different units are very complex. The real problem with this game is that it is a little boring because of the long playtime and lack of depht.

More units and more areas cut up for more mayhem. Dice rolled dependent with amassing the biggest army syndrome mixed into one.

Nothing more than an enlarged AnA game that could easily be satisfied with AnA 1942. Too large for its own good.

Love the minis though.
