Games Kit: 4 Cooperative Pencil & Paper Games

My favorite of the four is Star Clusters. A nice variety of games in the package with the traditional homemade production of Family Pastimes.

A great set!

4 games similar to something you'd find in the Pencilwise section of GAMES magazine. The Mountain Climb game is so-so. Pretty cut and dried graphing. Vorto is almost a competitive game and is much like Wordy Nerdy (which is much more recent than this game). Cross-It is a categories game (e.g. Facts in Five) where you try to squeeze in a lot of crossing words. Finally, the Star Clusters game is reminiscent of Dots and Minesweep (sort of). Each takes considerably longer than a typical Family Pastimes game, which is good as they're essentially car activities for long trips. But the kids have to be older (10 ish) and inclined to doing puzzles. I'd say Vorto is the top game of the lot.
