The game that got me into the Song of Blades and Heroes system. It has grown in complexity over the years, but I still find the world one of the best out there

The minis are great; I love the aesthetic. The game mechanics are built heavily on SoBaH, which is a great miniature system. So, good marks on those fronts. Compaitibility with Deep Wars is critical, since I like DW a bit better and would hate to have to pick between them.

My concerns & criticisms: (1) they have added complexity to SoBaH, for only marginal strategic gains but notable thematic gains. Depending on your tastes, that may be a good thing or a mild drawback. I'm not sure we really need body-part targeting or resistance checks. (2) the unit customization rules are terribly balanced and degenerate, just like the original SoBaH. The provided units are well done, so stick with them. (3) SoBaH is a ruleset usually best for mid-sized forces. The complexity and rules here encourage forces that are a bit too small. Acceptable and fixable, but not where SoBaH shines.
