I really wanted to like this game due to the very interesting combination of card play for the diplomatic play and the straight up slugfest that breaks out in the second half. The problem comes from a poorly written, confusing rulebook and a bad attention to details, with units missing or with a different name than mentioned on the cards or in the rules, cards missing information or straight up simple grammatical error.s There's a great game in there, too bad they didn't finish it before selling it to us.

I really like this game with the cards providing a really nice historical flavor.

Complex beast, despite the rules page count. I find the maps too small and dark. Definitely interesting, for the more seriously-minded.
