does it change a lot? no. does it add some variety. i guess so.

I haven't played with all of the cards yet but can say now that Mikołaj Kopernik and Husaria are solid additions.

As for a mini expansion this is great. These additional wonders and leaders are usually worth considering. Since acquiring all my plays was with this expansion.

Interesting new cards. Much more obscure than the original, at least for an American.

For me - non-TtA expert - it's just more variety rather than a set of new staples. Though I find strengthening temple strategy interesting and must try it some day with Kopernik and Jan Paweł II.

EDIT: 'Kopalnia Soli w Wieliczce' is a new staple. Basically the same goes for 'Pałac Kultury i Nauki'.
