A light expansion, not needed, but you won't catch me saying that if an event that is especially helpful to me ever comes out. On the other hand you'll hear me howl curses whenever the deck harms me.
I like using the deck best when modified (particularly a blend involving cards allowing people to catch up to the leader and cards that make it easier to accomplish various goals/ objectives).
Of course the most basic question about this deck is: does a game like Railways of the World need another injection of randomness and luck? Even for a die hard fan like me, the answer is no. The deck is a fun addition, and to be honest, the randomness is mitigated by the fact that (most) events take place after one turn. But, at least for players that are leaning towards the serious brother (AoS), these events are almost unneeded...
