Actually has more in common with the Knizia Decathlon than Roll Through The Ages.

It gets people going, talking arguing negotiating etc, which is nice for a little dice game.

A print and play dice game. Kind of a " Roll through the ages - light" with a bit of sabre rattling thrown in for good measure.

There are similarities with roll through the ages, but in my opinion this trumps it because of the simple nature, and greater level of player interaction. I am biased, but I enjoy playing this with different people to see their new styles and approaches. Did I mention that its free!

I love PNP games and dice games, so this is a must. It plays fast and has some player interaction. I still like Roll Through the Ages for meatier decisions.

Very easy, quick and interesting civ/empire building dice game. No, its not Roll Through the Ages--it is much simplier, yet still fun and interactive. I wish it had a solo variant, which may not be hard to create (e.g., just need to address War and Trade).

I liked the concept a lot, but it didn't quite come together for me. I'd rather play Roll Through the Ages for a similar but deeper/tighter game with more strategies. Still, I think DoN's take on the style is interesting and could be really quite good with further revisions.
