2 player, operational game, easily adaptable to solo play, because of the markers pool, which creates chaos factors to the battle.

Three scenarios:

  1. Pusan Perimeter (21 turn).
  2. Inchon & the Battle for Seoul (14 turn, Operation Chromite). 3.The Chosin Few (14 turn).

Based on the Fire & Movement system. Each player has two impulses per turn, in which they move and then attack with their forces on the map. In the first impulse all units can participate. In the second, only specially designated mobile units can do so.

DG's alteration of Brian Train's orig game design. Brian has posted the orig rules and counter & map changes on his site so you can play the game as he orig intended.

Includes 3 Korean war maps/battles (Inchon landings, Chosin Reservoir, Pusan). The latter seems to be a revision of Brian's older Pusan Perimeter game.

The main issue I have is with the differential CRT table that doesn't really work well given the wide disparity in unit sizes (E.g. Bn all the way to whole Divs).

Standard F&M fare, which I don't mind but I think it works best with WWI rather than the more modern conflicts. Included a number of original rules from the designer as they add period feel and character, otherwise it feels a bit generic. Rules presentation typically rather poor, as with many DG mag and folio games, making it more difficult to play than it needs to be. Okay game overall, particularly as you get three separate ones included.

Victory conditions are kind of wack but good subject.
