Alice in Wonderland (fan expansion for Ticket to Ride)

I like the abstracted content map and the criss-crossed nature of the board. I like the resulting surreal nature of the tickets and their implied narrative.

However, the layout is confusing and sometimes ambiguous, making the map nearly unplayable in practice. E.g. What's going on just down and to the left of the Cheshire cat? And in general the map quickly becomes cluttered and hard to read.

Still, some suffering is worthwhile for a novel experience.
