Via Nebula

It's probably a small audience that is after a family-friendly Wallace train game, and Via Nebula fills the niche perfectly. It has the route building and shared player infrastructure of his other games, but this time the interaction has been dialled over to 'friendly' instead of 'cut-throat' and the unforgiving financial systems are replaced with simple contract fulfilment and adorable piggy meeples. It's not very deep, but still good fun and very accessible.

EDIT: Turns out there is just enough meanness in Via Nebula to remind you this is a Martin Wallace game.

Simple pick up and deliver game. Enjoyable with easy to learn/teach rules.

Easy to learn, easy to play, but a good bit of depth. You can set it up, teach it, and play it in around an hour.
