Xtreme Zombie Hunter

I've done a brief play test, and have found this game most enjoyable. Now to procure a coupla minis! I've got a large, one inch square grid rubber roll-up mat for miniature combat. It's great, you just lay plexiglass on top of it, get yer grease pencil and create your environment. I'm sure I'll like this game even more as I get more comfortable with the rules. There are a few vagueries I'd like to get sorted out; the errata should be out soon.

Played at Fargo CoreCon 2010 - everyone survived!

Fun, light-hearted, zombie-killing romp. The premise is that a virus escaped a secret military lab, and by the time the government / military had secured the "area" a HUGE chunk of the American south (125,000 square miles) had been infected. The plague zone is surrounded by retaining walls, keeping the tens of millions of infected zombies in.

The coffers of the government are now empty, so in steps a tv network, willing to partially foot the bill for containment in exchange for the rights to enter the zone. Thus springs to life a live tv show, where "hunters" are dropped into the Dead Zone to fight zombies, and "plug" their commercial sponsors!

A Fun game with lots of possibilities for expansion. The game is fairly quick and easy to learn and get a game going. The freebie zombie counters that you can download from www.xtremezombiehunter.com are a nice, especially if you don't have a bunch of zombie minis you can use. There are also equipment counters, weapons counter, and a set of various counters that include drop case counters, bum rush counters, scatter counters, landing site counters.
