.45 Adventure: Crimefighting Action in the Pulp Era

Really well done skirmish system. This is the original 'core' book sort of, but it gets even better with its supplements/offspring: Super Science Tales, Gloire, Fantastic Worlds, Thrilling Expeditions, Under the Black Flag, Broadsword Adventures, etc. One nice thing about this system is that there is a little bit of 'leveling up' and characters are more fleshed out than is typical.

Just bought a copy along with the supplements but have only played a couple of times so far.

Great set of rules, this is THE ruleset I will use for skirmish level mini gaming - pulp to modern. Looking forward to using it someday for survivors v. zombies.

This game has a nice, easy mechanic and fun game play. The event markers adds a nice touch to make the game more then just another miniatures wargame.
