25-Nov-2018: This is a two-player wargame set in the early days of America after the Revolutionary War. One side is the newly formed US Army fighting to expand the boundaries of the country westward. The other side is the native tribes of the continent wanting to maintain its place in the land in which it already lives.

This is a beautiful looking game - not your typical wargame presentation from my little experience. The rules are brief and have some ambiguities, but otherwise, it plays quickly and smoothly. The simple initiative system (basically a game of War with a reduced set of standard cards) allowed me to overcome my usual concerns of playing against myself in these types of games.

The biggest compliment I can give the game is that it allowed me to explore the history of this time and these specific battles of which I had no real knowledge of previously. I enjoyed learning the history as much, if not more so, than playing the games themselves.
