Played Descent using the characters and monsters from this expansion. It's good to have more monsters :) I really must break out the components and read the rules. Sigh.

Good addition but not necessary to make the game better

Rating with base game.

The "Dark Glyphs" can be crippling to heroes.

Nice stuff in this set which a little more variety in monsters than was available in Well of Darkness, even though there is nothing in here as cool as the Golems.
