Fine and quick drafting game. After a few plays I feel the game aspects are focused just for resource production and might need something more for heavier gamers. But I can easily play this again as filler between a few months.

What a great thinky, quick game. Wonderful and fun.

A nice step up from Century: Spice Road, (which has been a long time family favourite). It is a relatively quick game that doesn't out stay its welcome. Despite the drafting it is a very solitary game. I have only played this with two but would like to try a higher player count.

So solitaire.

An abstract, drafting, engine-builder that condenses the classic euro mechanic of timing when to pivot from production to point scoring. Luck of the cards can really bless or curse you, if you get Giant Dam or Magnetic Train on the first draw you are probably going to win. Or, if you can start with a nuke plant and bomber squadron in round 1, you'll probably win as well. The symmetric start is the way to go, but I can say that the ELO rankings on BGA are pretty reliable and solid, so even with the high luck factor the best player is most likely going to win. Good at 2p and the fixed starting setup, but less so at higher player counts though still not bad, the benefit is that it usually plays in less than 30 minutes and on BGA it typically plays out in 15 minutes or less.

An interesting combination of a drafting game and engine builder, but unfortunately an engine builder of the Splendor variety. Most of the interest is thus in the drafting portion, which does do a decent job of offering tough choices, a sense of progression, and (mildly) multi-use cards. However, the engine building feels like admin as a result.
