It seems a bit light for my tastes, especially given how detailed other games are such as Command at Sea and Seakrieg 5. However, the miniatures for this game are hands-down awesome. I am a bit unimpressed with the rulebook, but I have not actually played a game yet.
I like the miniatures, nice scale to get big or small fleets on a decent sized table. The original Victory at Sea book is one of my all time favorites.

It's a solid game. It requires glue and paint for the models. Those are made out of resin and metal so, superglue will do the trick. Really like the way damage is handled. If you don't take care of your damaged ship, it might chain-react other damage events as a result in consecutive turns. Still, the game includes a basic rules set and it promises a future more complex set of rules which was a downside for me. I was hoping to get the full set of rules with this box.
