I'm still not entirely sure if this game is broken or not.

There seems to be a problem with one player getting a good string of symbols that allows them to continue placing so many that it leaves the other player needing the right cards to have a chance.

Good game. I'd recommend using the "advanced play" rules as part of regular game play since they don't require any changes to the basic rules. In fact, not allowing the "advanced" rules during play might actually be more challenging.

Good abstract game with a nice random element.

Excellent 2 player game! Easy to learn, and fun replayability! Played several times with the wife, she beat me 2 out of 3!
