If you want one single, simple reference to understand weapons, uniforms and tactics in the American Civil War, this is it. There are larger, prettier, and much more expensive volumes (or multiple volume sets) which do the same as this small book, but especially for new and casual gamers to the period, to the point and inexpensive is what grows our hobby. This should be reprinted!
