How do you rate a book of six game rules? As a production, this is top notch. It's a lovely object. As an idea, I'm all for it: Selling rules for traditional components rather than selling new boxes of cards. As games? Ehh... I've played 3 out of the 6, and none of them wowed me. They are all fine, but none are games I would choose to play over other options.
I played Forage with 5 people and we all enjoyed it. It was a simple, neat game that would be easy to pick up with a deck of cards. I can't fully evaluate all the games but if they are anything like Forage, they will be easy to learn but enjoyable on a hiking trip. It's not necessarily the type of game I usually go for but I think the book is a really cool idea.
Some bias because I am the designer, but I still enjoy playing these games even after 500+ playtests, and especially enjoy teaching modern board game mechanics with a deck of cards.
