one of the most innovative worker placement. If you like WP you need this one in your collection. Apart from the new twist it is a really good game.

Medium-weight Euro staple that I should be giving more love. Interesting strategy-mixing possibilities and the meeple death mechanic is innovative and fun. Plays at a decent clip and doesn't outstay its welcome.

Beautiful worker placement. Village entices the players to tell stories about their family without a word in the game. Mechanics are masterfully tied to the theme and very innovative. Time passing by, elderly people dying, youngsters working to help out the family... every concept is so simple, yet so wonderfully implemented. Even more so with Village Inn.

Village remains one of my prime examples whenever someone asks me what a good UX in a board game should look like.
