Worker placement game made better with the winter side of the board which increases the balance and usage of gold & stone.

Great entry level/gateway into the worker placement genre.

Stone age with a few minor additions.

BGA The Igloos" and "The Wild Animals"), and a "Winter Is Hard! are fine, no need for "as" many buildings, wild animals are alright and the winter element felt like an obstacle. www.youtube.com/amassgames

This holds a special place for me, if only for my love of prehistory. Beyond the theme, there isn't much to it. The additions to the base game are solid, although very minor. Perfect to play with children or as a first introduction to worker placement.
