Seirawan-Harper's Chess

Only played a few times so far, but enjoyed the change to standard chess which is played out. Felt like a breath of fresh air. Glad that this is a variant that does not require a different board, like so many other variants and new pieces were easy to proxy.

Capablanca chess on a 8x8 board, by dropping an Elephant (Chancellor, Knight+Rook) and a Hawk (Archbishop, Knight+Bishop).

Have only played a few games; very promising so far. Though it could just be the novelty of using additional pieces. Need to find a cheaper alternative than getting pieces from Staunton (for just the additional pieces, the postage is 5 x the price of the pieces. A complete set is seriously not worth it.)
